Hearts of Panama ๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŒด

Hearts of Panama was born out of the vision of two young leaders, Kenna and Aubrey, who visited Bocas del Toro in March 2024 and raised $4,000 to support local reef restoration. Their energy, compassion, and belief in making a difference sparked something bigger โ€” a mission to connect people with the community and the environment in Panama through hands-on giving.

The project began with a simple idea: bring people together to give back. Today, Hearts of Panama is growing into a movement that blends volunteerism, conservation, and cultural exchange. Their mission trips offer youth and families the chance to step into the local community, experience island life, and make a lasting impact.

Through partnerships with Follow Us to Paradise, participants have joined reef restoration dives, animal welfare programs, and spay-and-neuter clinics. The impact is real โ€” from helping restore 50,000 turtle eggs a season to planting trees, supporting schools, and sharing the stories of local families. Every act of service is both a gift to Panama and a lesson for the next generation.

At the heart of the program is a belief that giving is contagious. Each volunteer who comes leaves a piece of themselves here โ€” and takes home a new perspective on what it means to live with purpose. Hearts of Panama is more than a mission trip; itโ€™s a bridge between cultures, a hands-on education, and a way for young people to grow into global citizens.

Hearts of Panama is just getting started, but the future is bright. With more projects planned โ€” from coral restoration to community development โ€” and a growing circle of supporters, the mission is clear: your heart can make a difference in Panama.
